This is everything.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
This was another book I heard about via Twitter and again, I was not disappointed. I follow some smart people. It is hard to explain the plot without giving anything away, so I will just tell you it is about a couple who moved away from New York then the wife goes missing and the husband becomes suspect #1. Your jaw will be on the floor the whole time! I promise. There are twists and turns crazier than Britney Spears.
I actually hope they make this into a movie.

I found a recommendation for this book on Twitter and hope to inspire someone else to read it.
It follows a Vietnamese child of war to Canada and to a successful life. Though short and continuously jumping between times and countries it is all beautifully tied together and touches on a lot of things — race, culture, history, war, etc etc etc. Through this style of writing you are forced to think and reflect on the reading which is the point, no?
